What's in the Excel template

• A Roster tab for names, contact details, ministries, availability, blackout dates, and how often each person wants to serve.
• A Schedule tab with a row per service and a column per role. Each role cell is a drop-down of the names on your roster, so there's no retyping and no misspellings.
• Double-booking warnings. If the same person lands in two roles at one service, both cells turn orange.
• A fairness tally. The roster counts how many times each person is scheduled this month and turns their row red when they go over their limit. This helps stop the same few faithful families from carrying every Sunday.
• An open-spots count for each service, so you can see at a glance where you still need people.

Light-yellow cells are the ones you edit. Rename the eight role columns to match your ministries (Greeters, Nursery, Worship, Sound, and so on), and replace the example volunteer with your own people.

How to use it

1. Fill in the Roster tab with everyone who serves. If someone has asked to serve only twice a month, put 2 in "Max times / month".
2. On the Schedule tab, add your church name, the month, and each service date and time.
3. Pick a volunteer for each role from the drop-down. Watch for orange cells (double-booked) and red roster rows (over their limit).
4. Share the finished month however your team already works: print it, email it, or post it in the lobby.

When you're ready to stop filling it in by hand
